JUL 4, 2009 - Radical cosmetic overhaul. We've switched to a stand-alone domain name, and renamed the site QASANA. (Hopefully
this doesn't mean something terrible in one of our languages.)
The original premise behind ALBIS was that all language editors receive the Google AdSense revenue generated by their language.
However, after three years of monthly revenue averaging less than $2 per language, we have to accept that a new way of thinking
about monetization is required.
We have scrapped Google AdSense for now, and put a moratorium on new languages. We are considering several options at present.
Contributing editors are assured that whatever model we try next, revenue will be shared fairly with those who made this site possible.
