Feb 9, 2006 - Bugs fixed in English and Croatian.
For Croatian, fixed a bug that was prevented alternative spellings to be recognized. For example,
"šuma" can now be entered as "shuma".
For Serbian, fixed a bug that caused words to be displayed in Cyrillic during the review of
incorrectly entered words.
For English, added function to ensure that nouns are recognized as correct even when entered
with the article "the ", as well as without.
Feb 9, 2006 - Added Statistics page.
One problem with ALBIS was that users did not get a sense of it being alive. It looked
the same no matter how many people were using it.
To address this issue, we added the Stats page.
It is
automatically added to every module as soon as the word "Stats" is translated in the System
Phrases. It could perhaps be translated as "Activity" or "Data" or "Users" if it is hard
to come up with a word for "Statistics".
For now, only basic data - the username, language, level attained, and the date - is given on the Stats page,
but more detailed data might be added in future. At that point in time, it might also be necessary to add Options
or Preferences, to allow users to prevent themselves from showing in the Stats.
