What is the criterion for the choice of flag?
ALBIS uses the current flag of the location where the language originated.
For English, we use the English (rather than the British, American, Australian, Canadian, Indian, Philippine flag, or the flag of any other country where English is the official language).
Ditto for Portuguese, which is spoken in Portugal, Brazil, Angola, Mozambique, East Timor, and some other countries. We use the Portuguese flag, which is where Portuguese originated, and the Portuguese flag only.
The same is true for all languages spoken in more than one country (such as Spanish, German, Mandarin, Korean, Dutch, and so on).
